Childcare in Fairlie is a vibrant, community-driven out-of-school club dedicated to enriching young lives.
As a not-for-profit charity led by passionate parents, volunteers, and a committed staff team, we empower children by sharing the diverse talents of our community. Our mission is to inspire learning through hands-on experiences in sustainability, creativity, and healthy living.
Our children are currently collaborating with Nancy and Malcolm from Fairlie Community Gardens to grow their own plants, discovering sustainable food practices and the joy of growing their own produce.
They’re also honing their creativity with Mary and Linda, mastering arts and crafts while learning the value of repurposing and recycling materials. Thanks to community volunteers like Julie and Ross, the children enjoy engaging activities such as board games and football, fostering teamwork and fun.
Want to share your skills with our children? Join us! Contact cifcommittee@outlook.com to get involved. (Note: All volunteers and staff undergo PVG checks.)

Arts, crafts and recycling are great fun at the club. With Linda and Mary, the children come home with bookmarks, windmills, toilet roll monsters and lots more.
Ross is a teenager from the local secondary school, who volunteers to share his football skills with the children. In addition, Julie teaches the children the joy (and angst) of a board game.
